This video is historical .It was so uncertain that Connie would fly that weekend .Engine parts were flown over from Switserland to repair the left engine .The Start up and flight was a test flight .It was the last time that we saw Connie Flying in Belgium .

Will Connie ever fly again ? Connie Dismantled and Transported to Germany .

There are only Two Super Constellations in the world who were still flying ,One of them with the Swiss watch manufacturer Breitling together with the Super Constellation Flying Association, the other one with the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society of Australia. Both surviving aircraft made regular appearances on the airshow circuit. Since 2018 Connie was grounded at her homebase. A lot of safety issues needed a lot of repairs . The cost were to high for the Super Constellation Flying Association after the retirement of Breitling sponsorship.
In July 2019 Connie has been sold to a German Investorsgroup and in september 2019 Connie has been dismantled and transported to Bremgarten, Germany.
Their it will be restored to flying condition , so it could be that we see her flying again in 3 or 4 years .
