TMC leader Kunal Ghosh called BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar 'anti-Bengal' after he presented a proposal to PM Modi to merge Northern part of West Bengal with North-East region.
Ghosh alleged that Majumdar is trying to confuse people and the real reason behind Majumdar meeting PM was to condemn BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari being assaulted inside assembly premises.
Ghosh said, "He is trying to confuse people and divert an issue. Basically, Sukanta Majumdar and company are anti-Bengal. They told Delhi not to release funds for Bengal. Bengal has been deprived by BJP provoked by Sukanta Majumdar and company. They have nothing to do with development. It is an assignment job of Mamata Banerjee and she is doing development works. Sukanta Majumdar went to PM only to condemn Suvendu Adhikari and he targeted him for the defeat of their party."
