BBC Radio 4 on 95.3 MHz from Scotland received in Germany during tropospheric propagation conditions (Tropo) on 11 October 2010 at 19:12 UTC. Distance between the Meldrum transmitter near Aberdeen and my home town near Hannover: 970 km (587miles). Receiver: Pioneer DEH-2020MP car stereo using the standard whip antenna on top of my Volkswagen Golf III vehicle.
In the beginning I shortly tuned my radio to longwave 198 kHz in order to check whether it was indeed Radio 4.
This is my new Tropo distance record and also my first ever FM DX reception from Scotland.
