9 News report - Gold Coast surfer Justin Holland is recovering after riding what could be the biggest wave ever ridden in Australia. The wave, at Cow Bombie near Margaret River in Western Australia, detonated on Justin as he tried to outrun the exploding lip, fracturing his femur. He was rescued by fellow big wave surfer Jamie Mitchell and has undergone surgery in Bunbury Hospital overnight.
