Cricket West Indies President Ricky Skerritt has hailed the enthusiasm in the West Indies training camp, which got started on Monday.
Skerritt, along with Chief Executive Johnny Grave and Director of Cricket Jimmy Adams visited the camp at the UWI Cave Hill campus, where the one-day squad for the Ireland Tri-Nations Series began their preparation and was impressed with the players' attitude and the `vibe' resonating throughout the group.
And that is despite the rain that limited the amount of work they were able to do outdoors, opting instead to use of the indoor nets, where coach Floyd Reifer was able to get a full three-hour session with the players.
He too was impressed and said everyone gave 120 percent as he tried to encourage them to play their unique brand of West Indian cricket, even as they improve their skill-set as well as their fielding.
