Pink eye (conjunctivitis) is an inflammation or infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines your eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball.
You can use cold compresses and artificial tears, which are available over-the-counter without a prescription, to help reduce some of the inflammation and dryness brought on by conjunctivitis.
Wearing contacts is not advised until you are free of pink eye symptoms. Watch the video and learn more about Pink Eye (Conjunctivitis).
