The second part of week two! Week three will be all one video- I'm almost done editing it so it should be up in a few days :) If you have any questions, feel free to comment the time stamp with your questions.
I start getting some movement undersaddle in this video, and we also leave the enclosed area for the first time (pens and roundpen)! She was great! Every day she gets a little better.

This is in preparation for the 2020 Player's Choice competition in January. Player's Choice is a version of the Extreme Mustang Makeover, created by the Mustang Heritage Foundation. Accepted trainers have approximately 100 days to gentle, train, and compete with a wild mustang. These competitions help get mustangs out of holding, and into amazing homes. There's 72,000 mustangs in the wild, and 44,000 in holding. Mustangs need to be gathered because of lack of resources... the population grows every year and the land can't sustain all the mustangs.
From 'America's Mustang':
"Because of Federal protection and a lack of natural predators, mustangs can double in population size about every four years. An average of 3,800 mustangs have been gathered and removed annually over the last five years. When mustangs are gathered off the range they are brought to a off-range corral where they are cared for and given proper medical attention to keep them healthy and ready them for adoption or purchase. Some are moved to off-range pastures and ecosanctuaries where there is plentiful forage and water for long term care."
