Sticking: (r+K)rllrrll(R+K) L (r+K)rllrrll(R+K) L (r+K)rll kkRL(R+K), played as 32nd notes and 16th notes. Starts on beat 1 in a bar and ends on beat 1 in the next bar.

Not much to say about this chop, but I think it sounds pretty cool! Make sure to really dig into the cymbal and snare accents to add dynamics, and you're all set for some chop action. Good luck and have fun practicing!

For anyone interested, this is the mic setup I'm using:

Audix D6 pointing in a few inches inside the bass drum
Audix i-5's on the snare, one on top and one underneath
Sennheiser e604's on both toms
AKG C 391 B a few inches underneath the hihat
Two Samson C01 mics placed behind me to my left and right, pointing in towards each side of the kit.

All mics are run through a Phonic 808 Firefly U audio interface, and hooked up via USB to my Asus laptop where the audio is recorded and processed in Cubase 7.
