Hirsch Creek Canyon in Kitimat is a very cool place to go and explore. On this day we went to the top of a double waterfall that drops down the canyon wall into the creek below. EPIC!! There are 2 trails to access the canyon. 1 is a couple hour hike starting from the old hirsch creek jumping bridge. The other is to drive up Forest ave service road and take a left after about a 10 minute drive. There is a sign. This way brings you to the trail head that is already at the top of the canyon. You will only have a 500 meter hike to the top of the canyon lookout, and then you can drop down and do some exploring.
