The original plan for the 50th anniversary was to bring Christopher Eccleston back as the Ninth Doctor. While we were instead introduced to the (equally excellent) War Doctor, one can't help but wonder what it would have been like if the Ninth Doctor had returned at the end of the Series 7 finale...
