BORIS BROTT - One of the most internationally recognized Canadian symphony conductors, Boris Brott enjoys a varied career as a guest conductor, educator, motivational speaker, and cultural ambassador. He is currently the artistic director of Ontario's Brott Music Festivals, conductor and music director of the New West Symphony in California, artistic director of Symphonia Canada, and conductor of the McGill Chamber Orchestra in Montreal. He has been a guest conductor for numerous orchestras around the world, conducted, produced, and hosted over 100 television programs on both sides of the Atlantic, and recorded for a number of classical music labels. In his presentations, he draws on the comparisons between business organizations and symphony orchestras, and explains that each have common goals and must perform in harmony to achieve those goals as they strive for perfection.
