Come with me on a journey to discover the annual Redentore Festival in Venice - one of the most heartfelt Venetian celebrations! It takes place on Saturday preceding the 3rd Sunday of July to celebrate the end of a terrible plague that killed nearly 1/3 of Venetians in 1577.
But how do we celebrate? From traditional food to decorated boats, from fireworks to... a floating bridge (!) this is surely a celebration to be marked on the calendar for your next trip!
