Get ready for this Cleveland weather temperature drop!

The ups and downs continue as the cold air battles the warmer air this time of year and we're placed right in the middle of the action. Another strong cold front will plow through northern Ohio early Saturday morning bringing strong winds, some rain, and a significant temp drop. Let's get into the details:
STRONG WINDS
A Wind Advisory is in place for much of northern Ohio in anticipation of strong winds over 40 mph at times. The winds will ramp up tonight and continue through early afternoon Saturday. Some of the strongest gusts will occur as the actual cold front moves through Saturday morning.
COLD FRONT (TEMP DROP) TIMING
Showers will break out along and ahead of the front tonight with temps remaining steady around 50. The cold front will pass through between 7am and 10am from west to east through northern Ohio with gusts of strong wind and a burst of rain. Once the front moves through our temps will quickly fall from the low 50s into the 30s where we'll remain the rest of our Saturday.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Sunday will feature cooler temps, but lots of sunshine should make it a beautiful December day. Highs look to stay in the 30s. Next week we have a series of storm systems to watch as the boundary between the cold and the warm sets up right over the Ohio Valley. For now it looks like several waves of rain are on the way, but a slight shift in the cold air further south would place some snow into our forecast instead of rain. Stay tuned!

SUNDAY | Lots of sunshine with a few passing clouds. Cold with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
MONDAY | Clouds increase with a chance of late day showers. Not as cold with highs in the mid 40s.
