This was cut back in April. Plenty of growth since them. After my trip, it is showing drought damage. Although weather has been wet while I was away, the rain may not have gotten through its thick canopy (hence not wetting the soil underneath)
Came back just in time. It has sent out more new growth at the base of the dying leaves.
Now July 9 - cut to remove the dead/dying. Happy ending to a close call!
