In another episode, I’ve taken a look at the new Studio Piano instrument and this week, I’m turning my attention to Studio Bass which, like its Piano equivalent, offers a range of Bass control we’ve not seen before in Logic. We’ll have a quick tour of the interface before diving into what I think is Studio Bass’ best feature - the extended Articulations on offer. These are comprehensive, with long and easy-to-apply options for all of the Bass instruments. If Acoustic or Electric Bass is fundamental to the music you make, adding nuance and a musicality to your basslines has never been so intuitive.
