Restarting negotiations
DOTr Sec. Jaime Bautista and Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian have agreed to resume negotiations on three railway projects, which were previously canceled, during their first official meeting.
Last July, the Philippine government canceled its loan application for these projects because the Chinese government was "unresponsive."
The discussed resumption talks for the railway projects were the PNR South long haul project, Subic-Clark railway, and Mindanao railway.
