It's a new year, and new years are always a great time to plan and create a new vision for the future.
I also encourage you to do a gut check and to make sure you are checking in with your intuition regularly on your entrepreneurial journey. It's easy to get so caught up in the energy and excitement of building your idea into a real business that you might find yourself moving forward with decisions purely out of fear of spending too much time in analysis mode.
If you aren't confident in the decisions you're making, the path you're going down, the vendors you're using, the cost of something you need or think you need, etc... That's the perfect time to stop and reassess. We can't prevent 100% of the mistakes and pitfalls in building a startup or business, but we can definitely limit the number of costly mistakes. And we do that by checking in with our gut on decisions that give us pause.
And never make a decision or sign a contract or spend money with a sword hanging over your head. Taking a few extra days to explore why something "feels off" to you before diving in is ALWAYS an option. And if it's not an option, then you probably shouldn't be doing that thing anyway! Well-thought-out choices and decisions will have you be more confident, even when things are going a little sideways, and confidence is key!
Cheers and happy 2020!
