Fraudsters are taking advantage of the unemployment system, causing the number of fraud claims to the Department of Economic Security to sky rocket.

DES tells 12 News that since the beginning of the pandemic there have been more than 131,000 cases of fraud reported to them. About 7,800 of those were reported to the Arizona Attorney General's Office.
