In a major act of theft, a gold ornaments unit was looted by an inter state dacoit gang, at besant toad in the city. After threatening the workers with knives and guns, and looting seven kg gold from the unit, the miscreant ran away. The gang which comprised of Seven thieves, then got into maruti car and fled towards guntur.
