This is one of the best kettles on the market and is certainly the best kettle I own - a noticeable step up from converted kegs. The trub dam is what makes this kettle unique. It's a removable metal blade fixed with a heat resistant silicone rubber sleeve which is designed to prevent trub from flowing into the pickup tube.
If you are in the market for a new fermentor or taking the jump to stainless, definitely check it out.

**Note: The fermentor in this video is the 7 Gallon which is in most ways identical to the 14 gallon and half barrel models. During the dry hopping demo I'm adding the hops to a half barrel chronical which has a PRV on the lid (not visable).
