The period from Mid-March to mid-April is a pivotal time to observe the flowering trees and shrubs that explode into bloom here in Portland, and there’s perhaps no better way to start off spring than with a visit to the iconic Akebono cherry trees planted along the Willamette River at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. They are a truly breathtaking sight to behold each spring, and we thought we ought to send our drone out on a mission to capture them in their full glory.
