Welcome to Ginnie Springs Florida, where today I’ll show you what’s like to go scuba diving inside an underwater cavern filled with crystal clear freshwater. The Ginnie Springs complex is located on the south side of the Santa Fe River, near the town of High Springs, about 45 minutes northwest of Gainesville, home to the University of Florida. The waters found at this Central Florida natural wonder are some of the clearest on earth. We chose to go diving at the Ginnie Ballroom site, a great spot for a diver's first experience with caverns and overhead environments. Come join me as I experience diving in waters Jacques Cousteau once referred to as "visibility forever!"
