Editing video content using Davinci Resolve 17 is super simple.

To follow this tutorial you need to first download the free example videos, images and audio content.

Launch Davinci Resolve 17 and create a new project. Next, we will import the downloaded content into Davinci Resolve.

There are a few different ways to cut video content in Davinci Resolve 17. In this video tutorial, I will show you how to use the cut tab which is specifically designed for trimming video content.

Next, we need to move to the edit tab, in this section of Davinci Resolve we will first remove the audio content which is not required.

Now we can improve the video project by adding some video transitions between our video clips.

We downloaded some images for this tutorial, and it would be nice to use one of the images as an intro, so let's add the image to the beginning of the video project and then animation the image so it is not static and boring.

To improve our video project we will fade in the beginning and fade out the end of our video project.

Next, we will add the music track which is downloaded to our Davinci Resolve 17 video project. The audio needs to be trimmed first and then we will fade out the audio track to improve the ending of our project.

I will give you a brief overview of Davinci Resolve 17 Fusion which is used for special effects.

Next, we will go to the colour tab and apply some colour correction to our video content, I will also show you how to add an animated gaussian blur effect to the intro image.

I will give you a brief overview of Davinci Resolve 17 Fairlight which is used for editing audio content.

Next, we will go to the Davinci Resolve Delivery tab which is where we can export our video project into an MP4 file.

Finally, I will show you a few fixes to resolve an audio issue and a few examples of how to improve the video project.
