The question is -- how much does an ornamental iron fence cost? In our area, southern Arizona, prices range between about $24 and $38 a linear foot. Some factors are going to change that price: the height of the fence, the style of materials your fence is made of, the difficulty of the layout, and the overall size of the job itself.
This here is standard pool fencing in our area -- straight pickets, one in top and bottom rails. We do a lot of this type of fence for pool fence. We can curve it, make it wrap around decks, make it look like it was planned for in your landscaping.
Over here, this is “alternate wavy”. This looks great when you're looking through the fence and you see the shimmer of the pool behind it. This one looks great. We've got pictures online.
Again, we've got nice wave here. You got to make sure that the gap between the wave and the straight pickets still conforms to pool code which, in our area, is four inches or less.
This is our “Tuscan style” fence. A little bit of an upgrade on the top rail -- one and a half instead of the standard one inch. And we've got the nice fish-end scrolls on the top rail.
Over here is the “alternate knuckle”. If you notice, the knuckles are not right across from each other. If they were, they could possibly be considered a step over your fence, negating your pool code.
The last one over here is “alternate twist”. Every other picket is twisted all the way top to bottom.
