I am testing the overheating issue after the update from SONY. The ZV-E1 is a small bodied camera, with great power, so it would surprice me if it didnt get warm.
I am testing the camera in 4K indoors and outdoors, and as a bonus I am testing it in HD 200fps as well. Spoiler alert, I was happy with the results.
If anyone asks me if I would recommend this camera, I would say YES, if you have the money, GO FOR IT! The SONY ZV-E1 is today the greatest camera of them all, almost😅 Lets just say, I love it!
If the test would be different if I shot 120fps instead of 100fps or 240fps instead of 200fps I dont know, but let me know, and I’ll test that as well

Let me just say it the easy way, I am impressed!
