► The Prime Minister has given an emergency announcement to the UK telling the public that the time has come where they 'must stay at home'.
Boris Johnson announced that the police would have the power to fine people ignoring the new measures, and would also be able to disperse groups.
People would be allowed an hour's exercise a day, and could leave home for essential shopping - all other shops would be closed.
