Railway South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jai explained that the electrification works of the third railway line between Vijayawada and Kazipet have been completed.
The third electrical railway line has been prepared on the Vijayawada-Kajipet railway line. The third line has been completed and started along with the electrification of 16.6 km between Errupalem Cheruvu Madhavaram railway stations.
South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jain said in a meeting of these officers held in Vijayawada that the progress of infrastructure works in the current financial year is satisfactory and the main objective of railway passengers is safety of staff and speed without delay.
This railway line was made available last year as part of total electrification, 55 crore rupees was sanctioned to convert Me Pudugalalla Savalyapuram railway line into electric railway line.
