A daylight shooting in Sydney which left a man and his father dead is linked to a gangland feud between the Hamze and Alameddine families, the ABC understands.

Salim Hamze and his father were found slumped inside a ute on Osgood Street at Guildford after neighbours reported hearing gunfire just before 9:00am.
Salim Hamze, 18, was already dead, and Toufik Hamze, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.
But he died there before 11:00am.
