Gud ki Chai or Jaggery Tea is one of the famous tea variety which is specially made during winters. Replacing sugar with Jaggery makes it healthy and Jaggery itself has lots of benefits.
Ingredients-
1 cup Water
2 cups milk
2 tsp Black Tea
2 tbsp Jaggery /Gud pwdr
2-3 Cinnamon sticks / Dalchini
2-3 Cardamom / Elaichi
3 cloves / Lavang
5-6 Pepper corns / Kali Mirch
1 tsp Saunf / Fennel
How to make it-
1. Put the whole spices ina mortar and ground in coarsely.
2. In a saucepan , Place water for boiling.
3. Add the tea and crushed spices. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
4. Add the milk. Allow it to boil and cook until you get the desired colour.
5. Remove from flame. Put Jaggery powder into the serving cups.
6. Using a tea filter/sieve, filter the tea and stir it with a spoon so that the Jaggery dissolved completely.
7. Serve your healthy hot Tea. Have a nice Day!!
