Illegal structures in Mira Road's Nayanagar neighborhood have reportedly been demolished by officials from the Mira Bhaindar Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation. These structures, purportedly built on top of permanent buildings illegally, were subject to bulldozer demolition. The area recently saw disturbances to law and order, with riots breaking out on January 21st following an alleged attack during a community-led rally. In response to the escalating situation, the police and RF were deployed to Nayanagar.
