French authorities are in the process of identifying the two suspects that were killed during the raid in the northern Paris suburb of Saint Denis on Wednesday morning, local time.
Investigators zeroed in on the area after picking up phone conversations that indicated a relative of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the alleged mastermind of the Paris attacks, would be there.
The lead prosecutor in the investigation says Abaaoud was NOT arrested among the eight people who have been detained during the raid,... while one of the dead bodies belonged to a woman who detonated a suicide vest.
Police had fired five thousand bullets during the raid and the main building where the operations took place is now at risk of collapsing.
While France is trying to track down the terrorists behind Friday′s attacks, the threat of the Islamic State across the world continues to grow as the group releases how it brought down a Russian plane over Egypt′s Sinai in October.
A photograph in the group′s latest edition of its propaganda magazine shows a can of Schweppes Gold pineapple juice, a detonator and a switch, claiming they were used in the plane bombing.
