Don’t Give The Devil An Opportunity
Dear Christian, Ephesians 4:27 says
“give no opportunity to the devil.”
When we come to Christ
God builds a wall around us to keep the devil away from us
The devil could not get to Job
Because of this wall that God had put around Job
But the devil is always roaming around us
Looking for an opportunity to come through this wall
We give him that opportunity
When we disobey the Word of God
One opportunity we give the devil
Is when we fail to forgive someone who has hurt us
When we fail to forgive people who have hurt us
It destroys our communion with God
And the devil takes this opportunity to get to us
Jesus said we should always forgive and pray for those who hurt
So that the devil does not get an opportunity
Also when we let the sun go down on our anger
It causes us to express hate toward a person
instead of showing God’s love
And we give the devil an opportunity
Don’t let temporal hurts in this life
To rob you of your eternal crown
Amen!
