Queensland Editor Peter Gleeson says the joint climate commitment announced by the US and China is “a farce”.

“And the biggest farce of all is that China doesn’t have to get its act together when it comes to climate change until at least 2030 because it’s a developing nation,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“This is a nation with ballistic missiles, I mean goodness gracious.

“If it’s not the biggest economy in the world it’s the second biggest.”
