I have a rover ticket which means I can muck about on the Easdt Coast Main Line, so I thought it might be fun to compare the four main inter city carriers on the route north of York. so step up TransPennine Express, CrossCountry, Lumo and LNER and prepare to be counted.

Of course, the scoring is somewhat arbitrary and driven by what train turns up and my personal preferences. But hey, someone has to start somewhere and you can all enjoy sharing your views in the comments.
