Director Quentin Lazzarotto talks about his film 'Carlito se va para siempre' and what it was like to shoot in the heart of the Amazonian jungle.

The film follows a young man as he prepares to leave the Amazonian jungle and change his life forever.

The film is one of five films selected for #FiveFilms4Freedom 2019, running 21 – 31 March 2019 alongside BFI Flare, the LGBTQ+ film festival.

#FiveFilms4Freedom, the world's first global, digital LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) short-film programme is brought to you by the British Council and the British Film Institute (BFI), enabling people from all over the world to watch five films from the festival for free online.
