Session 2 of the Teagasc Virtual Sheep Conference chaired by Philip Creighton focused on flock health. Dwayne Sheils, a Teagasc Walsh Scholar outlined the main causes of lamb mortality and highlighted the opportunities to reduce lamb mortality. Caroline Garvan from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine gave an update on the New Veterinary Medicines Regulations for 2022 and what the implications are for sheep farmers.
