Ever wondered how to create this Marbled Buttercream Effect? I’ve been mastering this technique to be able to show you a clear and concise way to create this super realistic marble effect with buttercream, on any cake! This video also includes the recipe for one of my favourite vanilla sponges (more on that later) and Swiss Meringue - one of my favourite types of frosting that's perfect for marbling. Enjoy!

RECIPE:
4x 8” Round Tins
600g Self Raising Flour
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
180g Buttermilk
1.5tsp Vanilla Extract
9 Large Eggs
420g Unsalted Butter, Softened
180g Vegetable Oil
525g Caster Sugar
Swiss Meringue Buttercream:
300g Egg Whites
600g Caster Sugar
360g Unsalted Butter, Softened
1/2tsp Sea Salt, heaped
1tsp Vanilla Extract
