ORSAM, in partnership with International Policy Leadership Institute and Lusiada University, organized a conference entitled On the Way tp the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul: The Roles of Turkey and the European Union. The theme was on Syrian refugees, migration management, and burden sharing for humanitarian relief between EU and Turkey. We looked at the commitments made by Europe and Turkey on the issue back in october 2015. We could analyse the state of play on how cooperation looks now. We also highlighted ways in which cooperation could be adjusted or deepened.
