Surprisingly and maybe conveniently, the world's largest penguin colony for Magellanic penguins is somewhat accessible on the South American mainland. Easily, the numbers of birds exceed the tens of thousands, sometimes pushing one million during breeding season.
In addition to the sheer quantity of birds, it is how close the penguins come to people. Frolic with Matt as he waddles his way to the beach to get near to these adorable feathered friends.
