With BNSF's Heritage 1 paint scheme rapidly fleeing the railroading scene, it can be quite rare to catch a unit wearing it out and about. Well, today's Everett to Longview "EVELVJ" manifest train had 3 units wearing the old scheme! BNSF 1664, an SD40-2R built for the BN in 1978 as an SD40-2 leads the pack, with B40-8 563, built for the Santa Fe in 1988, BNSF 2636, built for the Santa Fe in 1965 and GP60B 333, built for the Santa Fe in 1991 trailing. 1664, 563 and 333 still wear the receding Heritage 1 paint scheme and are certainly a fine catch. Enjoy as they take the crossover here at CP Stewart in Puyallup, Washington!
