We started our day in #GranadaNicaragua with a quick breakfast before heading poolside at the Mansion de Chocolate. We started the afternoon with micheladas by the pool. The others scheduled massages. I went to the Doña Elba Cigar factory, one of the top in #Granada, for a quick tour and to try out one of their famous cigars. This was the perfect relaxation that I needed and much better than a massage for me. We then spent a little more time relaxing in the pool and enjoying our time in #Nicaragua. Afterwards, we bought rich, warm brownies and had a Nicaraguita for the first time at the Choco Cafe Museo at the Hotel Mansion de Chocolate. This cold drink was amazing and a mixture of chocolate, bananas and coffee. We were on a mission to find Tres Leches cake. We found our fix, through the suggestion of locals, to check out the Maria Elena Cafe & Panaderia. The tres leches cake was so very delicious. We were so very happy we stopped here! Joann kept saying this was the best! We later met some friends, Alexis & Graeme, who we just met that day and hung out at the main plaza. They were riding their bikes through Central America and had so many amazing stories from their adventure. Later for dinner, we enjoyed very tasty steak dinners at El Zaquan restaurant. Granada, Nicaragua impressed us so much and it really is a must visit destination in Central America!
