Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran announced that Tata group will build a semiconductor factory at Dholera in Gujarat. As per Chandrasekaran, the group will soon start a 20 GW gigafactory for manufacturing lithium ion batteries in Gujarat’s Sanand.
The summit kicked off today, on 10 January, at Gandhinagar's Mahatma Mandir. The theme of the summit is 'Gateway to the Future.' On Tuesday, 9 January, PM Modi inaugurated the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2024.
