Carlo Ratti, founding partner of Carlo Ratti Associati and director of the Senseable City Lab at MIT, discusses the future of mobility and the autonomous world as well as the projects of the studio in WAC's Instagram talk.
One of the studio's latest projects includes Cura, a moveable intensive care unit to be used for the treatment of coronavirus patients around the world. The first prototype was built in Milan, Italy.
The Digital Water Pavilion, the Copenhagen Wheel and Scribit are three key projects of the studio. They were hailed by Time Magazine as "Best Inventions of the Year".
Titled The Future of Mobility and Towards the Autonomous World, the talk is moderated by WAC editor-in-chief Berrin Chatzi Chousein. The talk was held on September 8th, 2020 as part of WAC's Live Interview Series.
