[ Ссылка ] For Belgium, the deadly coach crash in the Swiss mountains is a national tragedy. It is as a nation that its people will observe a minute's silence at 11am on Friday on what has been declared a day of mourning.
Tributes are already being paid to the victims, including in parliament.
Fifteen children and 2 adults will not be returning to a primary school in the northeastern town of Lommel, near the Dutch border. Those who mourn them continue to leave drawings, teddy bears and flowers outside the gates.
Lommel's people know that life in the town will never be the same again. At the town hall, a book of condolences has been opened for people to put their feelings onto paper. Finding words is proving difficult, with some saying the scale of this tragedy has left them speechless.
