delhi zoo(national zoological park) is a 176-acre zoo in New Delhi. India. Delhi zoo is situated near The Old Fort in Delhi and is a favourite weekend spot among adults and children alike. Delhi zoo is about 6km from New Delhi Railway Station by road. National Zoological Park is well maintained and is largely visited by tourists. The zoo is home to about 1350 animals representing almost 130 species of animals and birds from around the world. Delhi zoo all animals can be seen on foot or using a battery-operated vehicle which can be rented at the zoo. Visitors in national zoological park are not permitted to bring any food other than drinking water, but there is a canteen in the zoo where you can get all drinking items like cold water, cold drinks, flavoured milk, ice cream but not any eating items.

delhi zoo after lockdown still tickets is available only online. still waiting for offline conter to be open. delhi zoo snake house now closed due to winter season it will be open in April First week in 2023.
