in this video I have a look at the semi-precious and expensive pigment which is Lapis Lazuli. I give a historical background about the pigment itself and the alternative that is widely used today. I Compare the Lapis to the synthetic pigment Ultramarine blue and go in depth in the properties of Lapis. In the end I show you the best cheap alternative to Lapis and my thoughts on the pigment itself.
