Demonstration of how to perform Band Assisted Vertical Jumps.
Using the band the focus of this exercise is to increase your jump velocity to greater than you would normally achieve, the idea being that the faster you move the better your body is at being able to adapt to that speed. Additionally the band will slow your decent and reduce the impact of landing.
1.) Attach a band to a object overhead and make sure you have enough clearance to jump without hitting your head.
2.) Take out the slack by pulling dow on the band and jump as high as you can. As you return to the ground the band will resist you and slow your down.
3.) Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
