The Greek Creation Myth is a story about how the world was created, and it involves a bunch of powerful gods who didn't always get along. There are different versions of the myth, but they all have the same basic idea. This particular version comes from the writings of a poet named Hesiod, who lived a long time ago.
The Greek Creation Myth tells us that in the beginning, there was Chaos - a formless emptiness. Chaos was like a careless god living in a dark, chaotic void with no order. There was no solid land, no sun, no moon, no rivers, no seas, no mountains, and no pure air to breathe. According to Hesiod, Chaos created Nyx out of the darkness, and together they created Erebus, who ruled the Underworld. Erebus and Nyx had two children: Aether and Hemera. In Greek Creation Mythology, the gods mate with each other without discrimination.
