Last month, we stopped round the Dublin Castle, Camden for their open mic night.

There's something magical, almost spiritual, about knowing that performers such as Amy Winehouse, Coldplay and The Killers have all played *up* on that very (small) stage.

Big thanks to the open mic host Amy, and the wonderful sound man they had running the board, Fuzz. Also, to the wonderful musicians up on stage with me: Rhona Carse, Tom Allison and of course, my husband Peter Dixon. Extra special love to Katie Clarkson for getting these shots for us, and then teaching me how to edit them properly so I could share the night with you.

No thanks to Whiskey Dixon for having separation anxiety while we were on stage (even though he was with some of his bestest friends in the audience) and whimpering through a chunk of our second song.

He's lucky he's fluffy.
