Energy politics in anyway is in breach of Norway’s international agreements and obligations, says State Secretary in Norway’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy Amund Vik.
Norway is reporting record profits as the Nordic nation increases exports of oil and gas to countries cut-off from Russian supplies.
Mr Vik said changing the demand is needed before taking action on supply.
“You can’t just politically decide that the market is ready to turn off oil and gas,” he told Sky News Australia.
